The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) of Wisconsin and CSC Learning announce CREATING LITERACY-BASED INNOVATIVE INITIATIVES FOR COMMUNITIES TO SUCCEED (CLIICS)!  

Grant to provide over $300,000 in online, scientifically based literacy applications and services to organizations serving African American, Asian, Hispanic and Native American communities in Wisconsin!

GRANT OVERVIEW:

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) of Wisconsin, our nation’s oldest and largest Hispanic membership based organization and CSC Learning, the recognized leader in scientifically-based reading intervention solutions, are proud to announce the Creating Literacy-based Innovative Initiatives for Communities to Succeed (CLIICS) with the goal of reducing the achievement gap and improving literacy in Wisconsin.
 

The CLIICS Grant will provide a total of up to $300,000 in online e-learning tools to learning communities selected as “CLIICS Leadership Literacy Demonstration Sites”.  This grant provides qualifying schools, colleges, universities as well as community based organizations that primarily serve minority communities including but not limited too African American, Asian, Hispanic and/or Native Americans, to receive online student and teacher licenses and professional development that is valued at approximately $400+ per license, at NO COST to the selected organizations. The award will also include one (1) year of web-hosting/maintenance valued at $200 per year.  After the first year, the only recurring fee to the selected organizations will be the annual hosting/maintenance fee.

To be considered for the grant, please complete the CLIICS Grant Application Request Form listed below and if eligible, a grant application will be emailed within 24 hours of your submission.

Awardees will be selected through a competitive grant process with final selections being made by grant representatives from LULAC of Wisconsin and CSC Learning.
